Croes Efa Rhydwyn Holyhead
Isle of Anglesey LL65 4EL
Croes Efa (Eve's Cross) is situated on
the roadside junction from the village of Rhydwyn to Church Bay. It is
surrounded by farmland with charming views of Garn Mountain to one side
and Holyhead harbour and the sea to the other.
The cottage
dates back to the 1700s and has a cosy atmosphere. The sleeping
accommodation consists of one double bedroom and a twin bedroom both
overlooking the garden and fields. There is a large beamed sitting room,
with open fireplace and an eating/dining area.
It is a 10
minute walk to Church Bay with its lovely sandy cove and rock pools, and
wonderful scenic walks stretch along the coastal paths to neighbouring
bays. This area is one of the most peaceful and unspoilt areas of the
coast of Anglesey, and offers excellent seabird life.
The
coastal path around the whole island of Anglesea is now open and can be
walked in easy stages to capture the beauty of the coastline and the wild
flora and fauna.
